Library
The WorkSafe Victoria Library has an extensive collection of publications covering occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation, return to work and law.
The Library’s holdings include:
- 10,000 books and reports
- 150 journal subscriptions
- 600 plus OHS videos/dvds
- all Victorian Acts and Regulations
- reference publications including dictionaries and encyclopaedias.
Borrowing
Members of the public cannot borrow directly from the collection but can do so through inter-library loan. However, videos/dvds are available for loan but registration is required - see below.
Enquires
Members of the public are welcome to use the collection, but must first make an appointment by telephone. Library staff will show patrons visiting the Library how to use the resources.

Video/DVD Registration
An annual registration fee of $88 (includes GST) is payable per calendar year. The fee entitles users to borrow up to three videos/dvds per week. The collection covers a wide range of occupational health and safety topics and new DVDs are being added all the time. The Video/DVD Catalogue is available on the WorkSafe webpage. Photocopying
Limited photocopying is available and is free of charge. All copying must comply with copyright laws.
