Sponsorship is support for a project, event or organisation in return for the right to use that project, event or organisation to promote an image, message or service.
WorkSafe participates in sponsorships that provide excellent opportunities to promote our image and key messages. Through sponsorships, we aim to increase awareness and commitment of Victorian employers, employees and the general community for workplace safety, effective worker rehabilitation and return to work programs.
WorkSafe sponsorships must achieve one or more of the following objectives:
- significant exposure of our image and one or more of our key messages
- awareness of our image and one or more of our key messages
- compliment our strategic priorities
- provide a significant return on our investment
Submitting an application
You will need to complete an Application for Sponsorship form and return it together with any relevant supporting documentation to:

We recommend you submit your application at least three months prior to the commencement of your project or event.
Each application received will be assessed against the WorkSafe's sponsorship objectives and priorities. You may be required to attend a briefing with WorkSafe to discuss your application. Applicants will be advised in writing of the outcome of their application.
