Reviewing A Decision
If you believe your claim for compensation has not been handled correctly, WorkSafe advises that in the first instance, you talk to your employer, your treating health practitioner or your WorkSafe Agent.
WorkSafe’s Advisory Service will also provide free and confidential advice to both workers and employers. You can contact the Advisory Service on (03) 9641 1444 or 1800 136 089.
WorkSafe Agent review
You can request your WorkSafe Agent to undertake a review of a decision they have made. This review is made by a senior person within the WorkSafe Agent who was not involved in the original decision.
If you are still not happy with the decision by your WorkSafe Agent, you can contact the Accident Compensation Conciliation Service.
