WorkCover Agents

WorkSafe AgentsWorkSafe Agents are organisations appointed by WorkSafe to manage employers' WorkCover insurance and injured workers' compensation claims. 

These organisations perform most of the functions associated with premium and claims management. They also provide advice to help injured workers return to work.

Employer transfer freeze

WorkSafe's Agent panel came into effect on 1 July 2016 following a recent tender process. To ensure stability in the workers' compensation scheme during the transition period, there is short-term freeze on employers transferring their WorkCover insurance policies between agents. The freeze will be in effect until 31 December 2016.

The WorkSafe monitors and evaluates the performance of all WorkSafe Agents to ensure that our clients receive a high level of service.
