WorkSafe Agents are organisations appointed by WorkSafe to manage employers' WorkCover insurance and injured workers' compensation claims.
These organisations perform most of the functions associated with premium and claims management. They also provide advice to help injured workers return to work.
Changes to WorkSafe's Agent panel from 1 July 2016
Following a recent tender process, WorkSafe's panel of Agents will change on 1 July 2016. The new Agent Panel will comprise:
- Allianz Australia Workers' Compensation (Victoria) Ltd
- CGU Workers Compensation (Vic) Limited
- EML VIC Pty Ltd
- Gallagher Bassett Services Workers Compensation Vic Pty Ltd
- Xchanging Integrated Services Victoria Pty Ltd
The current Agent panel (details below) will remain in effect until 4pm on 30 June 2016.

Employer Transfer Freeze now in place
To ensure stability in the workers' compensation scheme during the transition period over the coming months, WorkSafe has applied a short-term freeze on employers transferring their WorkCover insurance policies between Agents. The freeze will take effect from 4 April 2016 and WorkSafe will review the freeze in August 2016.
