Return to Work Inspectors ensure that employers comply with their return to work obligations.
Inspectors do this by providing advice and information to assist employers to meet their obligations and by enforcing the law.
Review of Inspector decisions
An eligible person can ask WorkSafe to review a range of decisions made by Return to Work Inspectors.
The review function is managed by WorkSafe’s Internal Review Unit. If you disagree with the decision made by WorkSafe's Internal Review Unit, you have a right to apply to the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal for an external review.
