On Saturday, April 18, Violet Town and Avenel played off in the WorkSafe VCFL Game of the Month at the Violet Town Recreation Reserve. The local rivals played a closely contested game, with the home team winning by 17 points. Violet Town’s win was helped in the final term by the best on ground performance by Bo Harrison.
