This publication does not cover the specifics of compressed air for the supply of respiratory air. This document includes a web link to an 'unfired pressure vessel hazard calculator'.
To calculate the hazard level for you air receiver(s), refer to Comcare's Unfired pressure vessel macro (calculator). Where the calculator refers to licence, this should be interpreted as meaning registration under Victorian requirements. The calculator only calculates hazard levels A, B and C. Registration is done through WorkSafe (the calculator will only assist you decide whether you need to register your air receiver). To register your air receiver, download the Application for registration of item of plant.
