Clinical Framework

The Clinical Framework for the Delivery of Health Services (Clinical Framework) has recently been revised as part of the Health Services Group collaboration between the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria. The Clinical Framework outlines a set of guiding principles for the delivery of health services to compensable clients/workers. The framework has been established to:

  1. Optimise return to work outcomes
  2. Inform health professionals about the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria's expectations for the management of injured clients/workers
  3. Provide a set of guiding principles for the provision of health services for clients/workers, health professionals and TAC/WorkSafe Agent staff
  4. Ensure the provision of health services which are goal orientated, evidence based and clinically justified
  5. Assist in the resolution of disputes.
