Medical Reimbursement Rates
WorkSafe Victoria updates its reimbursement rates for medical services every November.
WorkSafe’s maximum reimbursement rates are published in:

These reimbursement rates apply to services provided by a medical practitioner to workers with a work-related injury or illness on or after 1 November 2007.
The items listed in this publication are derived from and should be read in conjunction with the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) Book November 2007. WorkSafe uses the MBS service item numbers, explanations, definitions, rules and conditions for medical practitioners. When billing for medical services, we expect that medical practitioners adhere to the MBS rules.
