WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers
The WorkCover Incentive Scheme for Employers (WISE) offers a 12 month financial incentive to employers who offer full or part-time durable work for workers who cannot return to work (RTW) with their injury employer.
A WISE employer can receive up to $14,860 in wage subsidies as wll as WorkCover insurance policy protection against the costs of a new or recurring injury while the worker continues to work under a 12 month WISE placement.
WISE is an arrangement between a worker and an employer. WISE cannot be transferred from one worker to another worker or one employer to another employer.
