Principal contractors
From 1 July 2008, principal contractors will have the following duties relating to construction work -
If the construction work is valued at $250,000 or more, as a principal contractor, you must:
- display a sign with contact details where it will be clearly seen from outside the workplace
- prepare a health and safety coordination plan, keep it up to date and make it available for inspection
