Educating the Next Generation

WorkSafe’s Educating the Next Generation Program aims to help young people prepare for the future by increasing their knowledge of health and safety while they are still in school and training programs.

Ultimately WorkSafe wants:

  • young people to know about OHS and be able to speak up about health and safety issues in the workplace
  • employers to better understand and respond to the needs of young people in the workplace, and
  • teachers to learn more about OHS and incorporate OHS into a broad range of subjects at secondary school.
