Educating the Next Generation
WorkSafe’s Educating the Next Generation Program aims to help young people prepare for the future by increasing their knowledge of health and safety while they are still in school and training programs.
Ultimately WorkSafe wants:
- young people to know about OHS and be able to speak up about health and safety issues in the workplace
- employers to better understand and respond to the needs of young people in the workplace, and
- teachers to learn more about OHS and incorporate OHS into a broad range of subjects at secondary school.

3in6 - A project to engage students in interactive learning
WorkSafe is sponsoring VITTA, the Victorian Information Technology Teachers Association, to help young people capture workplace safety through a video and animation competition.
The competition will take place on 29 October 2009 so download the 3in3 flyer and visit the 3in6 website for more information or to register your school.
