Health and safety co-ordination plans
The purpose of health and safety co-ordination plans is to set out the arrangements for co-ordinating health and safety on a construction worksite where there may be many contractors and where the circumstances can change quickly from day to day.
It is the principal contractor’s responsibility to make sure that a health and safety co-ordination plan is prepared before any construction work starts, and to make sure that the plan is implemented, reviewed and changed when necessary.
