Another young worker shot with a nail-gun New Gisborne

WorkSafe is investigating another serious incident with a nail-gun after a 20-year-old worker was shot in the chest with one at New Gisborne, north of Melbourne, this morning. The 75mm long nail went into the 20-year-old s chest just above his heart.

Man crushed between two trucks - follows fatality and explosion

A 50-year-old man is in hospital after a truck and trailer rolled backwards for 10 metres and crushed him against another truck at Mickleham today. The man was using a lever at the rear of a tip truck to release bitumen for a private driveway in Mountain View Lane when the incident happened just after noon.

Nearly $14m to fix injured Wangaratta workers

B&D Australia convicted and fined $300,000 after worker dies

Husband and father of two young children, Mervyn Jacobs was lifting a seven-metre-long tube when it fell and killed him at Kilsyth in Melbourne s outer east in November 2006. The 350kg steel tube was to form the core of a roller door.
