Occupational rehabilitation provider placement fees
An occupational rehabilitation provider may seek WISE incentive fees when a worker secures a return to work placement with WISE and this is sustained for 13 weeks.
An agent makes the WISE placement payment after:
- Receiving a New Employer Services (NES) placement report and invoice for EWP200.
- Verifying that the worker commenced work and is continuing to work with the WISE employer for at least 13 weeks.
- Confirming that the Sustainability and Action plan for post 13 weeks has been submitted.
An occupational rehabilitation provider is expected to maintain ongoing contact with the worker and WISE employer up to week 13. The cost of this monitoring activity is included as part of the provider placement fees.
Please note: occupational rehabilitation providers who assist a worker to find new employment may be eligible for either a NES (New employer services) incentive payment or a WISE incentive payment, but not both.
