Registering with WorkSafe
Medical and allied health practitioners can register with WorkSafe to become Healthcare Service Providers to provide services to injured workers.
If you are registered under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005 (and provide services approved by WorkSafe) have their details supplied to WorkSafe by Medicare Australia, and will automatically be registered to provide services to injured workers.
If amendments to your registration details are required (practice address, preferred mailing address, telephone number or email address), please complete the following form
Allied health professionals who are not required to be registered under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005 must provide any relevant supporting documentation with the completed application form.
A copy of your professional indemnity insurance must also be included with your application (registered medical practitioners and registered physiotherapists are exempt).
Payment for healthcare services
WorkSafe can deposit any payments for healthcare services that you have provided to an injured worker directly into a nominated account. If you would like to be paid electronically, please complete the following form:
