On 22 March 2011, 500 return to work coordinators, healthcare providers and others involved in return to work attended a forum hosted by WorkSafe to highlight the health benefits of work.

The Return to Work Forum featured a presentation from international academic, Dame Carol Black, on her thought-provoking UK research on the importance of work and the health risks linked to long term worklessness.

Attendees also heard about some of the innovative and practical outcomes of the Return to Work Fund and had the opportunity to talk to grant recipients about their individual projects.

Dorothy Frost, Director of the Return to Work Division, also spoke about some of the return to work challenges facing the Victorian workforce, and the initiatives WorkSafe is employing to address them.

Copies of the presentations given at the Forum are available below.
