WorkSafe conducted free 60-minute information sessions to learn more about the latest news and developments in work health and safety, return to work and your WorkSafe premium.

Each year, we visit towns and suburbs across the state to speak with employers and workers. It’s a great opportunity for us to provide valuable information to help you improve safety and keep your premium down, and better understand the issues that are important to your business right now.

We’re committed to helping Victorian workplaces remain the safest and healthiest in Australia.

This year we're preparing for the introduction of the national work health and safety laws in 2012. We updated the audience on national reforms progress as well as new information to:

• help you comply with your obligations to return injured workers to work
• major safety priorities for your business
• where our inspectors are focusing their efforts over the next year
• upcoming changes to employer premiums.
