Paul Breslin - Multiplex and chair of the Victorian Construction Safety Alliance
Paul Breslin has worked in the building and construction industry for approximately 37 years. He is currently employed as the Regional OHSE Manager for Multiplex in Victoria and South Australia. Paul is also the chair of the Victorian Construction Safety Alliance. Paul has built up his knowledge in designing, managing and implementing health and safety strategies and systems from hands on experience. Paul holds a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hazard Management and a Masters Degree in Applied Science (OHS). Paul has also completed a Master of Laws LLM (Workplace and Employment Law). Paul has been studying the role of safety in design and safe work method statements in the building and construction industry and has written numerous academic papers on both topics.

Paul Williams is the chairman of the Victorian Volume Home Building Safety Alliance contributing to safety outcomes for some of Australia's leading builders. He is also the Occupational Health and Safety Manager at Creation Homes. Risk mitigation through communication, education and training is Paul's philosophy. Work place health and safety is an integral aspect of any sucessful business. Paul is tertiary qualified with relevant experience in the construction industry gained whilst employed directly with the Housing Industry Associaltion for over 7 years. Working closely with WorkSafe Victoria. Paul has achieved significant recognition amongst his peers for being proactive and positive, driving culture change in often challenging environments.
Fiona Nield - Executive Director, Housing Industry Association
Fiona Nield is the Executive Director of the Housing Industry Association, Victoria. Fiona is a town planner with a background in both industry, state and local government. She has extensive experience in planning, land development, building policy and housing matters. For nearly 20 years at HIA, Fiona has worked with HIA members, including home builders, building industry professionals, suppliers and manufacturers, urban planning and the development industry together with government stakeholders to solve complex building and planning matters and improve the planning and building systems operation in Victoria.
