Loss and grief counselling service fees effective from 1 July 2020
WorkSafe Victoria will pay up to a maximum amount for the following categories of service.
WorkSafe is currently reviewing the registration standard for providers of loss and grief counselling in light of the National Association for Grief and Loss Victoria ceasing to operate. WorkSafe is not able to accept requests for registration from new loss and grief counsellors until this review has been completed.
Currently registered loss and grief counsellors can continue to provide loss and grief counselling services to injured workers. If you need further information, please email: [email protected].
Loss and grief counsellors must be accredited with the National Association for Loss and Grief.
Maximum fees listed in this fee schedule are exclusive of GST. If GST is applicable, WorkSafe Victoria will pay the GST component in addition to the maximum fee. Providers should provide a tax invoice where amounts are subject to GST. For queries regarding whether the services you provide to an injured worker are taxable (that is, subject to GST) please contact the Australian Taxation Office and/or your tax advisor.
