It is hard to think clearly about many things, including financial issues, when you’re grieving the sudden loss of a loved one. To assist you at this time, WorkSafe Victoria has produced this information sheet which outlines some of the important matters you may need to deal with. They include:

  • burial or cremation costs, which may be covered by WorkSafe
  • WorkSafe entitlements

  • life insurance

  • who to contact and what they can help you with
