What it contains

An engineered stone process is a process involving engineered stone at a workplace that generates crystalline silica dust, including cutting, grinding or abrasive polishing of engineered stone.

This checklist is designed to be used to assist with preparing an engineered stone control plan (ESCP) in accordance with the OHS Regulations. An employer or a self-employed person engaged in undertaking an engineered stone process must prepare an ESCP before undertaking that work. For more information about ESCPs see the guidance, Engineered stone control plans.
