One of the things too, we find, especially in construction -
0:16
a lot of people aren't aware of what their rights are when it comes to safety.
0:19
Their rights for a safe workplace should be reflected in that safe work method statement
0:23
if it is high risk construction work.
0:25
Which means, if they're going to read it
0:27
and something that is written in that safe work method statement is not in place as a control measure
0:31
then they should be asking the question as to where it is.
0:34
So, it is definitely important that they are inducted,
0:37
they understand it.
0:38
Also too, from a supervision point of view -
0:41
or an employer's point of view -
0:42
it then means that they are making sure that the employees
0:45
understand fully, what the requirements are.
