Dangerous goods
Everything about dangerous goods in one place.
Targeted inspections of industrial sites by WorkSafe, EPA, fire agencies and Victoria Police have detected concerning amounts of liquid chemical waste stored within warehouses at several sites within metropolitan Melbourne and Victoria.
Dangerous goods can cause explosions or fires, serious injury, death, property damage and harm to the environment.
In many cases it can be difficult to know for sure if there is an illegal stockpile of dangerous toxic chemicals, there may be some clues, but if you are worried then it is best to call WorkSafe so we can investigate.
Anyone can call and your call can be anonymous.
WorkSafe Advisory is available between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
