Falls basics workshops

Falls are the number one killer on Victorian construction sites. Every fall is preventable with the right risk controls in place.

Our free online workshops, led by WorkSafe inspectors, gives you practical advice and resources to prevent falls, implement risk controls and meet your legal duties for fall prevention.

Workshop benefits

The online workshop helps you:

  • learn practical ways to prevent falls and put the right safety controls in place
  • keep yourself and your workers safe when working at heights
  • understand your OHS responsibilities relating to falls from heights
  • access free support, practical tools and information
  • avoid delays, unexpected costs and reputational damage that incidents and fatalities can cause.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and get advice from industries specialists.

Eligibility

This workshop is designed for the Victorian construction industry, including:

  • employers, managers and supervisors with OHS responsibilities
  • small and medium-sized businesses (1-199 employees)
    • including employees and contractors
  • Health and safety representatives (HSRs).
