Worker dies in timber mill incident

A man in his 20s has died in a workplace incident at a timber mill at Benalla.

It is believed the man died after becoming entangled on a conveyor belt about midday yesterday. WorkSafe is investigating.

The fatality brings the number of confirmed workplace deaths to 11 in 2018, which is the same as at this time last year.
