Farmer crushed by livestock

A man has died after he was crushed by a cow and bullock at a Carrajung Lower farm in Gippsland on Tuesday last week.

The 78-year-old was airlifted to hospital where he died on Friday.

It is believed he was loading the livestock onto a truck at the time of the incident.

The death brings the number of workplaces fatalities this year to 15, which is nine more than at the same time last year.
