Worker fatally crushed by feed bags

It is understood the 63-year-old man was attempting to repair a ripped bag of animal feed when three one-tonne bags stacked on top of it fell and crushed him at around 2:30pm.

WorkSafe is investigating.

The death is the 15th confirmed workplace fatality for 2024. There were 27 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
