It is believed the 65-year-old was run over by the tractor and trailer attachment he was operating on a steep hill about 6pm.
WorkSafe is investigating.
The death is the 55th confirmed workplace fatality and the fifth in agriculture for 2025, all of which have involved tractors. There were 51 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
