Employers and workers are invited to register for the series of 12 free online events running from 26 to 30 October covering a range of workplace safety topics, issues and current trends.
While most of the sessions will benefit all workers and employers, other sessions will explore challenges facing specific industries – such as psychological health and moving people safely in the healthcare and social assistance sector.
There will also be webinars on preventing deadly falls, understanding new workplace exposure limits, reducing WorkCover premiums, supporting worker consultation, and what to expect from a WorkSafe inspection.
Chief Health and Safety Officer Sam Jenkin said the expert-led sessions would again benefit people looking to learn more about enhancing workplace health and safety and WorkSafe’s role in the community.
"We're really pleased that employers and workers continue to show strong interest in this invaluable webinar series featuring some of the leading voices in workplace health and safety," Mr Jenkin said.
"The webinars align closely with our strategic goals to drive positive change in Victorian workplaces through reducing workplace harm and helping employers support people returning to work."
