Psychological Health Basics workshop
Victoria’s Psychological health regulations strengthen employer obligations to protect employees from the causes of psychological harm, which continues to be one of the fastest-growing causes of workplace injury.
This free online 2.5 hour workshop is designed for Victorian organisations who are:
- at the beginning of their psychological health and safety journey
- or looking to strengthen their approach to managing psychosocial risks like aggression or violence, bullying, sexual harassment, high job demands and more.
The workshop introduces practical tools and resources to help organisations apply the psychological risk management process.
While the tools were developed with small and medium-sized businesses in mind, organisations of all sizes are welcome to participate and can adapt the learnings to suit their existing processes.

The workshop helps you:
- understand your OHS responsibilities under the Psychological health regulations
- understand how to implement a risk management process to identify, assess, control and review psychosocial hazards and risks
- improve your knowledge about psychosocial hazards in the workplace such as aggression or violence, bullying, sexual harassment and high job demands
- access free tools, resources and information
- exclusive (optional) access to additional support from a follow up Q&A session online with a WorkSafe Psychological Health and Safety Specialist.
