Employers and workers from the manufacturing industry are invited to a free breakfast event to explore practical ways to create safer workplaces. Through a series of interactive sessions, you'll hear real-world insights, learn about common workplace risks and discover simple, effective ways to create safer workplaces. We'll share key findings and insights from our focus on manufacturers in Dandenong, along with discussions on health and safety issues affecting the industry. Learn about free programs to support your workplace, including WorkSafe's OHS Basics (Noise, Manual Handling, Falls, and Psychological Health) and the OHS Essentials Program. You'll gain a better understanding of how premium rates are determined for the manufacturing industry and how improvements in workplace health and safety, together with supporting early and sustainable return to work, can help improve premium outcomes over time.
