Christopher has over 10 years of experience as a Technical Inspector, Investigator, and Senior Construction Inspector. Having started his career as an OHS Labourer and progressed to OHS Manager for a medium-density, high-rise construction firm, he brings extensive practical and regulatory expertise in construction safety, risk management, incident investigation, and workplace health and safety compliance.

James Webster

Principal Advisor Construction Support Unit, WorkSafe Victoria

Before joining WorkSafe in 2018, James worked as an A-Grade electrician in the construction industry. He also holds a Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion. Over the years, James has worked in several inspector-based roles at WorkSafe before moving into his current role as Principal Advisor of the Construction Support Unit. He now leads a team of fantastic construction advisors who support inspectors, develop practical guidance, engage with industry, and work towards making construction sites safer for everyone.
