Falls prevention and scaffolding blitz

WorkSafe is reminding the construction industry about the risks associated with the use of scaffolding, use of ladders and works at height.

 

Falls remain the leading cause of fatalities within the construction industry

Falls often occur as a result of inadequate fall prevention including unsafe or incomplete scaffolds.

WorkSafe Inspectors will visit domestic and commercial construction sites to ensure appropriate systems are in place to control the risks.
