A mobile mechanic has died while working under a car at Ferntree Gully on Thursday.
It is believed the 75-year-old man was working alone when the car rolled off a trolley jack, crushing him.
WorkSafe is investigating.
The death brings the workplace fatality toll to 14 for 2021.
