WorkSafe investigates student death

WorkSafe is investigating the death of a student during a school excursion at Port Fairy.

It's understood the eight-year-old boy drowned during activities at an indoor pool around 10:45am on Friday.

The death brings the workplace fatality toll to 18 for 2021.
