Man dies following chainsaw incident

It is believed the 49-year-old was working from a ladder when he lost his grip on the chainsaw and sustained serious lacerations to his arm and upper body. He died in hospital.

WorkSafe is investigating.

It brings the number of workplace deaths to 53 for 2021.
