Truck driver crushed by falling gate

It is understood the man was attempting to close a 12-metre wide sliding gate when it came free from its tracks and guarding rails and fell onto him at about 4:10am.

WorkSafe is investigating.

The death brings the workplace fatality toll to 13 for 2022, six fewer than at the same time last year.
