Traffic controller crushed in workplace incident

It is understood gravel was being unloaded from the fully extended tipping trailer when it tipped into a culvert and onto the traffic controller at about 3.15pm yesterday.

WorkSafe is investigating.

The death takes the workplace fatality toll to 23 for 2022, six fewer than at the same time last year.
