Online Employer Services system requirements
Minimum requirements for accessing WorkSafe's Online Employer Services (OES).
Supported internet browsers
OES is compatible with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge. WorkSafe strives to provide a consistent and accessible experience across these browsers. We don't support older versions of these browsers or other browsers. This is due to their limited market share and potential compatibility issues.
Internet browsers must have the following features enabled.
To access OES, you will need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. If JavaScript is not detected, an error will be displayed.
Enable JavaScript in your internet browser and restart your computer. Refer to your internet browser's help for instructions on how to do this.
Your JavaScript settings may be affected if you:
- upgrade your browser
- install new security software
- install security patches.
It's a good idea to check that JavaScript is still enabled if you notice any display problems.
To access OES, you will need to have cookies enabled in your browser. If cookies are not detected, an error will be displayed.
Enable cookies in your browser and restart your computer. Refer to your internet browser's help for instructions on how to do this.
OES requires your internet browser to allow pop-ups.
Supported Adobe PDF file readers
OES provides some documents in Adobe PDF file format. A reader program is required to view these files. These Adobe PDF file readers have been tested with Online Employer Services, using default settings. Other programs and versions may also work correctly.
- Adobe Reader, versions 11.0
Supported spreadsheet programs
OES provides some documents in Microsoft Excel file format. These spreadsheet programs have been tested with OES, using default settings. Other programs and versions may also work correctly.
- Microsoft Office Excel, versions 2003, 2007 & 2010
Microsoft Office Excel file format .XLS and .XLSX is supported. When using Microsoft Office Excel versions 2007 and above, you should ensure your spreadsheet is saved in either file format.
