Rejected claims

If your claim is rejected, you have a few options.

Use your sick leave

Your are entitled to use any sick leave or other leave you've accrued to cover your time off work.

Request a review of the decision

If your claim is rejected you will be sent a letter by your WorkSafe agent explaining the reasons why it was rejected. This letter will include information on different ways you can appeal the decision.

If you want to request a review follow the instructions in the letter. If you need further information get in touch with your employer’s insurance agent and or WorkSafe Advisory.
