Design verification declaration

What it contains

WorkSafe Victoria need verification that the plant design is safe and was produced in accordance with the published technical standards and engineering principles specified by the designer.

To act as the design verifier, you must not have participated in the plant design. You must also have an appropriate level of skill and knowledge, gained through academic training and qualifications or experience, to enable you to verify the plant design.

Important: Where the published technical standard used in design has been superseded, design verification must be completed against the current published technical standard used in design.
