What it contains

WorkSafe aims to determine entitlement to compensation as quickly as possible for the applicant’s benefit. 

The guidelines include the following key principles.

• Applicants are not expected to have legal representation.
• Applicants, employers and their advisers or representatives should cooperate and share information.
• To help with a quick determination, applicants should provide certain documents.
