Health and safety statistics: Victorian mining exploration and extractive industries

What it contains

Every year WorkSafe collects safety information from earth resource related workplaces. This data includes:

• number of employees
• total employee hours worked
• number of incidents/near misses
• number of lost time injuries (LTIs)
• number of days lost to LTIs
• number of fatalities including contractors

This report shows these statistics for 2010 to 2022 in tables and graphs, by material types processed.
