WorkSafe uses the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) item numbers, explanations, definitions, rules and conditions for services when reimbursing medical practitioners.

This publication lists the MBS item numbers and the maximum amount that WorkSafe can pay medical practitioners as reasonable costs.
