Memorandum of Understanding: Solar Victoria

What it contains

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between WorkSafe Victoria and WorkSafe Victoria and Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) sets out the common understanding between the parties as a voluntary statement of intent. It contains the commitment of both parties at the time the MoU was signed and for its duration.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sets out the understanding between the Parties as to their commitment to information sharing and collaboration with regard to the installation of solar photovoltaic systems, solar hot water systems and battery systems on residential properties in the State of Victoria. The Victorian Government, through the Department, has established Solar Victoria to offer the Solar Homes Program and promote safe installation by using accredited installers and products.
