Self-insurance gives eligible employers the option to manage and bear the costs and risks of their own claims. To remain eligible to be a self-insurer, you must show that your OHS management system is robust enough.

This audit is not meant to assess the performance of individuals, but of the the system, including its structure, policies, planning activities, resourcing, operating procedures, and work practices combine together to manage the risks associated with the organisation’s business.
