Rateable remuneration is payment made to a worker that is subject to a premium. It's not always obvious what is and is not rateable remuneration.

Generally, a royalty fee is not rateable remuneration, but a residual payment is. However, there are exceptions (outlined in the document). This difference is often relevant in WorkSafe legislation.
