Prevention plans for psychosocial hazards

Use this template to create a psychosocial hazard prevention plan for your workplace.

What it contains

A prevention plan is a written record that documents the risk management process. It can be used to help control the risk of psychosocial hazards in the working environment.

This document provides a suggested template for employers to create a psychosocial hazard prevention plan. You can use the template online or print it out.

There are multiple ways to structure a prevention plan. Employers can also create their own prevention plan to suit the circumstances of their workplace.

This prevention plan is provided for general use only and may not be applicable in every circumstance. Completing a prevention plan may not demonstrate sufficient compliance with your OHS obligations as an employer. You should assess your obligations, and if appropriate seek legal advice, to ensure that you are maintaining a working environment that is safe and free of risks in compliance with relevant law.
