Unable to access Online Employer Services with the latest Google, Safari or Edge Browsers
This workaround has been provided to help you access Online Employer Services if you are not able to log in when using the latest versions of Google Chrome, Safari or Edge.

Safari
This workaround has been provided to help you access Online Employer Services if you are not able to login when using the latest versions of the Safari browser.
This configuration change is necessary in order to use the latest Safari Browser with Online Employer Services. You may choose to keep this configuration or revert it back to the default, once you completed the activities on Online Employer Services.
To successfully login, Safari needs to have the 'Prevent cross-site tracking' option turned off.
Steps are as follows:
- Open Safari
- Go to 'Preferences > Privacy'
- Uncheck 'Prevent cross-site tracking' option

Chrome
Google's new Chrome versions may need some adjustments in order to work with Online Employer Services.
There are two things to do:
- Allow 3rd - party cookies
- Clear cached content
Allow 3rd-party cookies
1. Open the Chrome browser and click on the three vertical dots near the top right hand corner.
2. In the options that appear, click "Settings"
3. In the address bar, change "chrome://settings” to “chrome://settings/cookies" and press "Enter"
4. In the "Cookies and other site data" page that appears, please check that the "Block third-party cookies in Incognito" radio-button is selected. (Note: if you have "Allow all cookies" selected, this will work as well if you have a reason to want this setting.)
5. IMPORTANT step: Allow all cookies from the WorkSafe domain:
Scroll down to "Sites that can always use cookies” and click 'Add'" then add the "worksafe.vic.gov.au" domain, make sure that "All cookies, on this site only" and click "Add".
(note: some browsers may have slightly different wording, but the checkbox must be selected)Clear cached content
1. Change the contents of the address bar from "chrome://settings/cookies" to "chrome://flags" and press "Enter"
In the resulting page, follow the steps below:
- Type "Samesite" into the search box.
- Select :Disabled for "Samesite by default cookies".
- Don't forget to click "Relaunch" (some users see "Restart").

Edge
Microsoft's new Edge browser may need some adjustments in order to work with Online Employer Services.
Allow 3rd-party cookies
1. Open Edge Browser and click the three horizontal dots near the top right hand corner of the browser.
2. In the options that appear, click "Settings"
3. In the address bar, change "edge://settings/profiles" to "edge://settings/privacy" and press "Enter"
In the "Tracking Prevention" page that appears, if turned on, choose Balanced (or Basic if this is already selected).
5. IMPORTANT step - Allow all cookies from the WorkSafe domain:
Click on "Exceptions", then "Add a site", and type "worksafe.vic.gov.au", then click the "Add" button.Disabling "Samesite by default cookies"
Change the contents of the address bar to "edge://flags" and press "Enter"
In the resulting page, follow the steps below:
- Type "samesite" into the search box.
- Select :Disabled for "Samesite by default cookies">
- Don't forget to click "Restart".
Clear cached content (You can usually skip this step)
In your Edge Browser Address bar, type: “edge://settings/clearBrowserData”
In the panel that appears:
- select "Advanced"
- set the Time range to "All time"
- check the four boxes as shown
- click "Clear Data"
